Sprint?s $199 Galaxy Nexus Launches On April 22 With $50 Google Wallet Credit In Tow

sprintgalnex If they haven?t already done it, Sprint customers in need of an upgrade should make it a point to circle April 22 on their calendars. Not only has Sprint chosen that day to launch their eco-friendly LG Viper, the nation?s third largest wireless carrier has just confirmed on Twitter that the Galaxy Nexus will be available for $199 (with contract) that same day.

From the forums: Is a Sprint LTE device worth it if I won't have LTE at launch?

EVO 4G LTE

Michael24j asks this in regards to the upcoming EVO 4G LTE, but it's just as relevant for phones like the LG Viper and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus:

With only five or so markets with LTE this summer, is it worth it?

I currently have the EVO 3D, (and the original EVO 4G) and have for almost two years gotten use to using 4G Wimax. However, I live in an area that probably will not be on a LTE rollout priority list anytime soon. Was wondering if anyone else out there is going to wait to buy this because you will have to return to Sprint's horribly slow 3G network or if you are planning on getting it regardless? I want the new stuff with the phone and really never use the EVO 3D, but I don't think I could live without 4G.

And that's a tough question a lot of folks are going to have to ask themselves. Stick with an older phone and continue to use Wimax (while it's still around, which will be a little while yet)? Or upgrade and wait on your township to get Sprint's new 4G LTE data while making do with 3G.

As a reminder, Sprint has announced Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Baltimore and Kansas City will be its first cities with 4G LTE.

We tackled this one on this week's podcast. And the consensus among us was that it might be worth waiting a little bit. For as stoked as we are about the HTC One line -- and the upcoming EVO 4G LTE -- if you rely on Wimax data (or are just really, really used to having it), you'll likely be happier with what you've got now instead of waiting in the slow lane for LTE. Either way, here's to hoping Sprint expedites its LTE rollout.

Should Michael24j wait? Are we crazy? Let us know in the EVO 4G LTE forums.

HTC launches trio of Dragons in China, Ice Cream Sandwich on all
HTC's been far from quiet since unveiling its One series to the masses, and today the company's continuing the trend by launching three new devices in China. This trio makes up HTC's Dragon lineup, which our partners at Engadget China first met at MWC. Leading the way is the 4-inch HTC VT T328t for China Mobile, featuring Sense 4, an S-LCD, WVGA screen, a 1GHz CPU alongside 512MB of RAM, the famed Beats Audio and of course, it's running a flavor of Android ICS. As for the VC T328d (Telecom) and V T328w (Unicom), they're both rocking similar specs as the VT model, with the exception of dual-SIM card slots on each. All three Dragons are expected to be available by month's end, but save for the T328w costing 1999 yuan (around $320), pricing remains a mystery.

Bloody Mary's War: literate!

The Queen has been ruler for a very, very long time. It used to be that she was a kind a generous Queen, one who gave to the needy, took care of her people, and worked herself to the bone for them. She was the peaceful sort, one to negotiate rather than battle, but she could not stay that way forever when a neighboring kingdom declared war to take over her land. The neighboring kingdom saw her as weak, and for that her people suffered. The Queen was desperate, her measly army decimated. It drove her to take grave measures, delving into a dark magic that she did not fully understand. Deep in her dungeon?s libraries she discovered a mirror the likes of which none had seen for quite some time. It spoke to her, she listened. It told her anything she wished to know, even the future, and it told her how to prevail.

The Queen used this new knowledge to cast a spell on her fallen army, she had them resurrected. And from the ground they rose as much tougher and scarier men, they had no need for breath, nor water, nor food. With her new dark magic she produced spies so she could see everything. With this new army the Queen turned the tides and enslaved the neighboring kingdom, absorbing it and resurrecting the men her army felled, adding to her number.

But all of this magic came at a heavy price, and she found her body aged quite a number of years; in the body of an old woman at the young age of twenty five. This horrified her, and she raged at the mirror for not warning her of this. She asked it how she could gain back her lost youth, and it replied that such a thing would require the sacrifice of a young maiden. The Queen was horrified, and did not speak to the mirror again for quite some time. She worked on rebuilding the damage done to her land, and the land she had gained, wanting her people to prosper. But unrest was brewing, the citizens did not like the new army, it frightened them, and the Queen herself was dying more each day. Again she grew desperate, her work not yet done. She used that as an excuse for her first victim, and the next, and by the next she did not need an excuse, for she was Queen. You see with each maiden?s blood that she bathed in she grew more beautiful, but also grew less human. The Queen had the mirror placed in her throne room, and with its information she added two more kingdoms to her land. Her consideration towards the common people dwindled to next to nothing; those who obeyed were allowed to live, while those who disobeyed were made an example of. Her kingdom thrived however, and the nobles got to reap the rewards for this.

When one day the mirror bore news of her demise, the Queen took every measure to counter it. The mirror prophesied that a baby girl with a special birthmark was born to dethrone her, and when her troops could not find her she had each newborn baby girl in her land killed. She also sent troops to demand the newborn girl with the special birthmark of the only two free kingdoms left standing, and when they refused she went to war with them. The newborn girl turned out to be the new princess of Ebone, one of the two kingdoms left standing. The King of Ebone had his daughter sent far away by his own sorcerer so that she may be safe. These two kingdoms have held her off for quite some time; the war still goes on today, twenty years later.

Nick Jonas, Michael Urie Reveal 'How To Succeed' In Anything

'Be humble and be good to people on the way up,' 'How to Succeed in Business ...' star Jonas advises.
By Jocelyn Vena

Nick Jonas and Michael Urie are currently starring in the smash Broadway musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," where night after night they learn and re-learn how to succeed in business ... well, you get the point.

Given all that sage wisdom, when MTV News sat down with the twosome, we decided to have the guys themselves offer up some handy guides in "How to Succeed in [Insert Objective Here] Without Really Trying."

Why? Well, Jonas' J. Pierrepont Finch eventually finds success at the World Wide Wicket Company, where he meets Bud Frump, played by Urie. Frump hopes that nepotism can help him win within the company, whereas Finch relies on the help in the book for which the play is named. In honor of that handy-dandy fictional guide, we thought they might have some fun writing their own guides to life.

When asked about their advice on "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," the guys broke down three key ingredients. "Well, I think #1 is just do nothing, 'cause you can't try," Urie explained. "And then #2 is you gotta do something, and then #3: Do nothing again."

While that advice may seem vague for any corporate climbers out there, Jonas couldn't help but have to agree with it. Now, Nick was more forthcoming about "How to Succeed in Show Business Without Really Trying."

His advice? "Be humble and be good to people on the way up, 'cause they'll be your friends if there's ever a moment when you need them on the way down or any moment in any career," Jonas said. "And then also enjoy the ride, 'cause it usually is a fun one, even when things become tough and take on an interesting turn."

His final piece of wisdom? "And then surround yourself with good people," he explained. "Good people a part of your team, a part of your cast and just everyone who can help you get to the best place that you want to be in."

And then finally, we wanted to know how the guys "Succeed in Love Without Really Trying." "[Be] patient, definitely always gotta have patience in love," Urie said. "[Be] understanding, which is sort of like patient, but a little bit different. And then lie, cheat, steal."

What do you think of the guys' advice in business, show business and love? Tell us in the comments!
